When is the Wimbledon women’s final? Date, start time and how to follow as stars compete for Grand Slam success

A new women’s singles champion will be crowned at Wimbledon this weekend as stars eye a Grand Slam title.
Last year’s winner, Barbora Krejcikova, lost in the third round of the tournament, leaving her trophy to be claimed by another.
World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka, who knocked out Emma Raducanu, is getting closer to her first title at SW19.
Sabalenka is the favourite to go all the way, but Iga Swiatek is still in contention to get her hands on some silverware.
Amanda Anisimova and No.7 seed Mirra Andreeva are among those also contending for a place in the final.
When is the Wimbledon women’s final?
The Wimbledon women’s singles final will take place on Saturday, July 12.
It will be played on Centre Court on the second-to-last day of the tournament.
A start time for the match is yet to be confirmed.
However, the action is expected to get started at 4pm.
Typically, the singles finals at SW19 were held at 2pm, but this is now likely to be moved two hours later.
This is happening to allow a large worldwide audience to tune in and increase crowds for doubles finals.
The men’s doubles final is expected to start earlier at 1pm.
