Do Love Island's Nic, Olandria Have Matching Necklaces After Cierra’s Exit?
After Cierra Ortega’s shocking exit, Love Island USA viewers think Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen just took things to the next level with matching heart necklaces.
Nic and Olandria coupled up during week 5 and have only gotten more committed to their connection. But certain eagle-eyed viewers have since noticed a subtle hint at just how serious Nic and Olandria’s connection has become.
“YALL… Olandria had a 2 heart necklace and gave one of the hearts to Nic to wear
,” read an X post showing how Olandria originally had two heart charms on her necklace, which now has only one. “I’m melting.”
After the most recent recoupling, Nic has been wearing his own heart charm necklace, which many viewers have taken as a sign of some behind-the-scenes swapping.

“Nic has made Olandria breakfast multiple times, gave her his shirt again to keep warm, Olandria gave him the charm off her necklace.. and they didn’t air NONE of that,” another social media user wrote.
Nic and Olandria became a fan-favorite couple earlier in season 7 when they were with other people. Despite Nic being with Cierra and Olandria considering a future with Taylor Williams, fans created edits and made pleas online for producers to find ways for Nic and Olandria to interact.
That opportunity came when Nic and Olandria were individually eliminated amid Casa Amor. They weren’t taken out of the villa, though, and were instead offered the chance to couple up together. Nic ultimately went back to Cierra days later, and Olandria remained single until Cierra’s shocking departure.
After a racist post from her past resurfaced, Cierra left the villa, and Nic rekindled his connection with Olandria.

“We both got dumped from Casa and now it is us again. I am like, ‘Alright, let’s see what this is actually about. Let us truly navigate this couple s*** the right way this time,’” Olandria told the girls during the Monday, July 7, episode of the show. “Was it supposed to be us all along?”
Nic, meanwhile, made it clear that he was committed to giving his chemistry with Olandria a real chance before the finale.
“It feels familiar. Obviously, my strong connection is no longer in the villa. This time around it is about focusing on each other and giving it 100 percent,” he told host Ariana Madix. “What I can do as a man is just be there for her and take care of her as best as I can. So I am just focused on that and on making her a mean bacon, egg and cheese in the morning.”
New episodes of Love Island USA will be released six days a week — except for Wednesdays — on Peacock.
